today my post will be a bit different from the usual one, because today I have the mind to give you advice if you are the first weapon, or if you are going to embark on this passion.
Unfortunately, as you have discovered, the passion for photography is very expensive, but do not be discouraged because it is not the machine or equipment that the photographer does.
I believe that even with compact machines you may have good results, you certainly do not have full control over the parameters that are: diaphragm (f), shooting time (eg 1/100), iso and etc. But let's say it's always a good start, or now as there are many Reflex or Mirrorless used, and even the stores, during Christmas they make a lot of discounts on camera cameras.
Obviously, to begin with, a Reflex entry level can also be a good idea, but they are still Reflex, they are a great starting point for learning how to use the parameters and the various functions, so that you can make special shots and indulge in fantasy .
This photo, (which is on my blog), I took it with a Canon eos 1200d with a 18-55mm lens in practice is basically the goal.
This is a clear example that even with a "entrylevel" machine you can take fantastic and exciting pictures but just do a lot of practice and have patience and learn from your own mistakes, because, as far as I understand, never stop learning in this field.
If you are going to get closer to this hobby, and maybe you will buy a Reflex or any machine do not forget, which is the photographer, that is, your imagination making the photo and not the machine.
Of course, if we talk about Reflex, we can not avoid talking about goals, but I want to give you advice before spending a fortune, buying items and equipment, the only thing you need is a machine, a tripod and the desire to get in it is enough to prove that the goal you have provided, that is the base, is more than good, before we learn to use all the potential of both the machine and the target, then maybe later we upgrade; consider, I am two years old to shoot pictures, but I still have to learn so much from my mistakes and so much more I have to find out in this wonderful world called photography ....
